Wyre Forest CLT AGM 2020

Our annual AGM has this year taken place by video conference – we thank all of our members who were able to attend the meeting.

For those of you who were unable to join us, here are the presentations from the evening.

Our progress to date:-

• Became a legal Community Benefit Society- with Charitable Aims in April 2019.

• Community Engagement and recruitment of volunteers ongoing.

• Campaigning to raise support from our communities across the district and forming working partnerships.

• Working in partnership with wide range of partners.

• Identifying land and project opportunities.

• Looking at ways of designing modular small homes.

Our 2020/2021 priorities:

• Identifying potential sites and how to progress these as community led initiatives.

• Setting up a strategy to establish a training facility for timber framed flat pack homes.

• Looking at further ways to engage with our community during these hard times and restrictions.

• Forming further links with local groups and organisations that can support us to bring about change and build Community Led Housing projects around the Wyre Forest.

• In order to move forward we are also working closely with WFDC, WFCH, Homes England and landowners.
